Emergency Preparedness

Monday, May 1
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Burnaby Public Library and the City of Burnaby Emergency Management Department are presenting this workshop.

Earthquakes and other natural disasters can happen without warning. They take many forms: floods, winter storms, summer heat waves, chemical spills, house fires, earthquakes, etc.You and your family can stay safe during these emergencies, with the help from the City. Ensure that you, your family, and neighborhood are prepared before disaster strikes. Learn how to minimize home hazards, assemble emergency supplies, and develop a family reunion plan. In Burnaby we believe that the more work we do today, the more we can help the residents and businesses in our community.

Free, but space is limited. Please register online or by calling the Bob Prittie Metrotown Branch 604-436-5400.
