Kingsway Memories

Wednesday, September 27
7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Learn about the long history of the road we know as Kingsway. The talk will begin with the route's origins as a First Nations trail, and end with its heyday of neon signs and supper clubs in the 1960s. This talk is presented by Eric Damer, researcher and educator at Burnaby Village Museum, and a freelance historian with numerous publications. He holds graduate degrees from UBC and enjoys sharing his research about the past.

Kingsway Memories is the second of eight events in the Burnaby Neighbourhood Histories Series. Presented in partnership by the Burnaby Village Museum, the Burnaby Public Library, and the Burnaby Historical Society.

Talks are free, but space is limited. To avoid disappointment please register online, or by calling 604-436-5400.
