Calling bird watchers, nature lovers and storytellers! Join us for a birdwatching and creative writing workshop.

Learn about bird writing, look at samples for inspiration and hear about the importance of preserving wild bird habitat with Deer Lake writer-in-residence Veronica Gaylie.

We will then go on a birdwatching walk in Confederation Park to look, listen and take notes. Learn how to weave these notebook twigs and pieces into a story.

Presented in partnership with Deer Lake Artist Residencies, City of Burnaby.
