The Medicine Wheel metaphor contains traditional Indigenous teachings and is often used as a life guide.

Join Indigenous educator Lorelei Lyons of 2 Metis Women as she guides participants through making a small, beaded wheel while learning how to strive for balance in our lives.

Participants will use the wheel as a tool for learning, contemplating and understanding their personal journey towards holistic wellbeing, as well as balancing the Physical/Mental/Social/Spiritual self.

2 Metis Women is a Metis owned and operated company offering informative, hands-on workshops that foster awareness of Indigenous Culture. Lorelei Lyons, owner operator, is Chippewa/Metis and Irish/Scottish from the Swan River Valley in Manitoba. Her ancestors are from the Turtle Mountain Reserve. Lorelei is a knowledge carrier for North Fraser Métis Association and Indigenous education coordinator for the AWARE Society, resident Elder for Capilano University and Métis Ministry of Children and Families.
