In our Safe Community Series, learn about the latest information in crime prevention, as well as tips for everyday and online safety.

This session is designed to help older adults stay safe and confident while using phones, computers and the internet.

Participants will learn how common scams work, the tactics scammers use to create urgency or fear and the red flags that signal something isn’t right. We’ll also cover practical digital safety tips, including how to protect personal information, create stronger passwords, avoid phishing attempts and verify whether a message or call is legitimate. This session will highlight local resources, where to report suspicious activity and how to support friends or family who may be at risk.
