There are lots of ways to help your child develop literacy skills by doing everyday activities at home, outdoors, or at the library:
- Have a storytime for your pet or stuffed animals
- Do a scavenger hunt
- Go to the library together and choose books for each other
Use our version of BINGO [PDF] to explore even more ways to have fun while developing literacy skills. Mark an X in each box once you’ve completed the activity. See how many you and your family can do together!
