Get the popcorn ready, there’s a new streaming service in town! We've added Kanopy to our collection of digital resources.

Kanopy is an on-demand streaming service for all ages, and is free to BPL members who live in Burnaby. Stream over 20,000 critically acclaimed movies, including documentaries, foreign films, classic cinema, independent films and more. Kanopy has partnered with A24, The Criterion Collection, PBS and other studios that provide access to quality video content.

Families can get unlimited access to Kanopy Kids: a collection of films and TV series that help children develop social-emotional skills and reinforce valuable learning topics, such as history, science, and new languages. Kanopy Kids has a diverse selection of educational and entertaining content that ranges across movies, TV series, animated storybooks, live action, and animated favorites.

Burnaby residents can access Kanopy with their library barcode and PIN. Stream videos on any device including desktop, smart phone, tablet or TV.
