Accessibility Plan
Burnaby’s Accessibility Plan was developed through extensive engagement with people with lived and living experiences of disabilities and disability-focused organizations. With more than 30 actions, the plan outlines our approach to identifying, removing and preventing barriers within our community.
Access Advisory Committee
The Access Advisory Committee advises Council on improving access and inclusion for community members with disabilities in Burnaby. It is made up of nine members, including three Council representatives and six resident representatives. Each member has a three-year term with an opportunity for one renewal to a maximum of six years.
