Home Delivery Service
We want the library to be available to everyone, including those who may be unable to visit the library on their own. Home Delivery Service can bring the library to you.
Who can sign up?
You can receive home delivery from us if you
- live in Burnaby, and
- Are unable to come to the library for three months or more.
How do I sign up?
Register using our online form or call us at 604-436-5423.
We encourage caregivers to contact us and set up service on behalf of an individual who qualifies.
What can I get delivered?
We deliver any library material you would get at the library in person. This could include the latest bestseller, a film documentary, an issue of Canadian Living, or the third book of an audiobook series.
What if I have challenges reading print materials?
Patrons can ask for audiobooks, but there is a collection of accessible audiobooks and equipment reserved for people who have difficulty using traditional printed media. This gives access to a huge variety of materials, as well as access to the entire Burnaby Public Library collection. Learn more about our Accessible Audiobook Service.
