You can print and scan at any Burnaby Public Library location. Use the scanning station to make photocopies.

Visit any of our locations to print from a library computer, or send a print job to any of our printing stations using your own device.

Scanning and photocopying

Visit any Burnaby Public Library location to access a scanner.

You can scan in colour, grayscale or black and white. There is no cost for scanning to an email address, saving to an external device (i.e. USB) or uploading to Google Drive.

Scanning to print and photocopying are the same process:

  1. Scan your documents at the scanning station
  2. Enter your library card number or email to send your scans to the printer
  3. At the print station, scan/re-enter your library card number or email address to release your print job

See below for printing prices and paper sizes. All unclaimed print jobs are deleted after 24 hours.

Single and double-sided (duplex) printing is available.

Only cash payments are accepted at this time. Printing prices apply to:

  • Anyone using a guest pass or email to send a print job
  • Library members who have used up their monthly free printing credits

Free printing credits

Library members get $5 of free printing per month. Printing credits are linked to your library account. To use your free credits:

  • Print from a library computer by logging in with your library card number
  • Print online from your own device with your library card number

If you don’t have a BPL library card, call us or visit any service desk and we’ll create one for you. Library cards are free.
